Visiting a medspa for your first Botox treatment can be a little overwhelming if you’re not prepared. Before you schedule or attend your first Botox injection appointment, here’s what you should know.

  How Long Does It Take?

If you’re on a tight schedule or have trouble sitting still for long periods of time, we’ve got good news about your first Botox appointment. In most cases, the first appointment only takes about 20 minutes, so you can get your injections and go about the rest of your day.

  When Will I See Results?

                    We know

      Botox treatments

are all about the results, so you might be wondering how quickly the injection takes effect. According to the Mayo Clinic, Botox injection results may be visible after one to three days, but it could take up to a week for you to get your desired results. Don’t worry if your injections aren’t having an effect the day after your treatment.

  Is Botox Painful?

Even if you have low pain tolerance, Botox is considered a less painful and invasive procedure. A tiny needle is used to inject Botox into your skin, which means you barely feel the needle poking you. Some specialists may numb the area where Botox is being injected to further reduce pain, but you should be fine with or without a numbing agent.

  Things to Avoid

You only need to avoid a few things and then you can go back to your normal daily routine for the most part. After you’re finished with your first procedure, your practitioner or medical doctor should give you some tips to help you get the best results. The general idea is that you need to be gentle on your skin after an injection. Sit upright instead of lying on your face immediately after treatment and avoid rubbing your skin or spending too much time in direct sunlight.

You don’t have to be worried about your first Botox treatment. The process is simple and relatively pain-free, and you can get back to your normal life after a short time. As long as you follow your doctor’s instructions, you will start to notice results in no time. Call ProHealth Solutions today to schedule your first

that will have you looking your best. One of the most popular is microneedling with plasma-rich protein (PRP). These injections are very safe, and the vast majority of our patients easily tolerate them. Not only can microneedling with PRP help reduce scarring, it can also help reduce signs of aging. This non-invasive treatment only takes about an hour, and most patients report seeing results in as little as two weeks.

  What is Microneedling?

This is a non-invasive, non-surgical treatment where we use several safe, tiny needles to penetrate the skin. This penetration occurs at different depths of skin, and is extremely precise. The needles help to promote rapid healing of the skin, which results in the formation of new elastin and collagen. Once the healing occurs, the skin looks firmer, thicker and has a healthier overall appearance.

  What is PRP?

You might have heard of athletes receiving PRP injections in order to be able to return to action faster after an injury. But PRP has cosmetic applications as well. These aren’t in the same category as medical fillers, but they still deliver significant benefits. For example, PRP isn’t like a Botox injection, but both deliver excellent results.

When someone suffers an injury of some kind, the body responds by transporting blood platelets to the tissues that have been damaged. This helps the healing process begin. Platelets are extremely important, because they help draw a wide range of healing factors into the injured area.

PRP acts in a similar fashion. The main difference is that it involves the injection of exponentially more platelets than are typically sent to an injured area. The contents of your specific injection will depend on what type of condition you want to address. Here’s a quick look at how the process typically works.

What are the Benefits of Microneedling with PRP?

PRP actually delivers incredible anti-aging benefits. Your skin will look much healthier and much more youthful. The injections promote the turnover of cells, which will then provide the benefits.

But PRP is also used to help rejuvenate hair, providing a thicker, fuller head of hair without the need for any sort of surgical procedure, or any sort of drugs. The incredible healing power of the body takes care of everything. In many cases, PRP can help make the follicles you have stronger, and may also stimulate new growth.

Who is a Candidate for Microneedling?

Just about anyone who isn’t satisfied with their appearance can benefit from microneedling with PRP. It can address facial issues, such as hyperpigmentation, scarring due to acne, and discoloration of the skin. Microneedling with PRP can also help scarring on other areas of the body, as well as the formations of keloids. These are the lumpy, ridged, raised scars that can develop after an injury has healed.

Again, this is an extremely safe procedure. However, you will need to do a few things before your treatment day arrives. For example, you’ll need to stop taking any kinds of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs for short) at least one week before your procedure. If you could stop taking them two weeks before, that would be even better.

Also, if you could stop taking blood thinners from three to five days before the procedure, that would also help – of course, only do this if your doctor says it’s 100% safe to do so.

You should also stop taking any sort of supplements that have anti-inflammatory properties. These include the following:

We’ll ask what supplements you may be taking. If it’s one that isn’t on this list, we’ll let you know whether or not you should stop taking it during your pre-treatment consultation. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment, and make sure you’re well-hydrated.

Are There Any Side Effects or Risk Factors Patients Should be Aware of?

There are very few of either, if any. There are some people who may have a small risk of infection as well as bleeding. That’s why we recommend you don’t take blood thinners for a few days before your treatment. Some patients report mild side effects, such as redness or tenderness at the injection site. Some report bruising, tingling, swelling and numbness. But any side effects should quickly dissipate.

After your treatment, you’ll need to take a few precautions. These will not only help ensure the effectiveness of the injection, but also protect you from any potential complications.

How Much Does Microneedling with PRP Cost?

Insurance will typically not cover microneedling with PRP. However, we offer not only discounts, but also

If you’ve been told that your immune system isn’t quite where it needs to be, IV therapy might just be the answer. ProHealth Solutions offers a blend of nutrients, such as zinc, vitamin C and many others, that work together to strengthen your immune system. Our NAD+ IV drip can boost not only your physical health, but also your cognitive health as well, helping promote heightened mental clarity, alertness, memory and concentration.

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a substance that’s known as a coenzyme. It’s basically a kind of helper molecule that bonds to other enzymes. Every cell in your body has it, and it plays a huge role in hundreds of processes that help the body function as it should. One of its most important roles is to help the body convert nutrients into energy.

Unfortunately, most of us start to lose this critical enzyme as we start to get older. Research indicates this decrease could play a role in age-related health issues. Replenishing the levels of NAD+ may help protect against deterioration.

  Fatigued People

If you tend to feel tired all the time, an IV drip known as a Myer’s cocktail (or Myer’s drip) might be right for you. This treatment is regularly used for people suffering from not only chronic fatigue syndrome, but other problems as well, including sinusitis, seasonal allergies, and even menstrual cramps.

IV therapy can help promote an increase in energy without you having to resort to unhealthy junk food and sodas that are packed with sugar and caffeine. You may also want to consider having an injection of vitamin B12. It will provide an immediate energy boost, and will also strengthen your immune system.

  Athletes, Body Builders, Workout Enthusiasts

Do you love working out every day? Do you get frustrated because you have to take a break to allow your body to recover between sessions? Recovery is obviously critical, because it helps keep you from suffering a severe injury. But for a lot of workout enthusiasts, it simply takes too long.

IV drips could help shorten that time, providing you with a safe, effective way to replenish key amino acids and electrolytes, and boost your energy in the process. You might just find that you’ll be able to get back to the gym much faster, and you’ll see an overall increase in performance as a result.

But what if you’re not a hardcore fitness fanatic? What if you’re just trying to lose some weight? IV therapy might be able to help you as well. Our Get-Up-And-Go drip helps stimulate your body’s metabolism, helping reduce your appetite and burn fat in the process. It might just give your weight loss program an added boost.

There are also cosmetic benefits to the IV drips we offer at ProHealth Solutions. Our Inner Beauty drip is packed with not only minerals and multivitamins, but also antioxidants. They work on the inside of your body to help your outside appearance. They can nourish your cells to reduce wrinkles, quench parched skin, and boost collagen production. These all make your skin stronger.

  People with Anxiety

For many of us, anxiety is simply a way of life, something we just accept. But you don’t have to accept it – you can use IV therapy to reduce that anxiety. IV drips can also make your muscles more relaxed, and make it easier to get great sleep.

People with Frequent Headaches or Migraines

In addition to reducing anxiety, IV therapy could also help the headaches that can sometimes come with it. It might also reduce the horrible migraines that many people experience far too often.

Of course, you can also get a headache when you overdo it a little bit when you go out drinking with your friends. Nobody likes a hangover – IV therapy could help yours disappear. IV drips replenish the fluids lost when consuming alcohol. This helps reduce or eliminate headaches, thirst, and fatigue that can accompany hangovers.

. In the meantime, here are a few tips to lose weight in a way that’s much easier than you may have imagined possible.

  1. Eat More Protein

The body works pretty hard to digest and metabolize protein. That helps it burn calories as a result. High-protein diets have also been shown to help you feel full after a meal, helping you reduce your daily intake of calories in the process.

  2. Eat Whole Foods3. Avoid Sugars and Processed Foods

Processed foods are designed to make you want more – that’s part of the reason why it’s so hard to stop eating those chips, cookies or candy once you’ve started. If you can cut them out of your diet, there’s a very good chance you’ll lose weight.

  4. Drink More Water

You might scoff, but there is proof that drinking water might help you lose some weight. Drinking as little as 17 ounces of water can help your body burn calories for as long as an hour. If you’re middle aged or older, drinking water before a meal could keep your body from absorbing as many calories.

  5. Cut Out the Sweetener in Coffee

Drinking coffee each morning could help you lose weight as well. Research indicates that the caffeine in coffee could increase the rate at which the body burns calories. Since sugar helps contribute to weight gain, try drinking your coffee straight.

  6. Try Intermittent Fasting

Fasting every once in a while might be a great way to drop some unwanted pounds as well. It can lead to reduced calorie consumption, which can contribute to not only weight loss, but other potential benefits.

  7. Eat More Fruits and Vegetables

There’s a reason your parents told you to eat your fruits and vegetables – they’re great for your health. They both contain a lot of water, and many of them are also high in fiber – as well as critically important nutrients. Studies show that people who eat a lot of fruits and vegetables tend to weigh less than those who don’t.

  8. Use Smaller Plates

Losing weight can be psychological for a lot of people. If you use smaller plates when eating, that might actually help reduce the amount of food you eat. Doing so could make you think that you’ve eaten more than you really have.

  9. Take Probiotics

You’ve no doubt seen ads on TV touting the benefits of probiotics. While it might not seem that appetizing to ingest live bacteria on purpose, these microscopic organisms won’t hurt you – they’re so-called “good” bacteria. One specific type of bacteria found in probiotics, Lactobacillus gasseri, has been shown to promote weight loss.

  10. Sleep More

While we all need to get the right amount of sleep to be ready to face the next day, getting more could also help with your weight loss plan. A lack of sleep can cause a disruption in the way that the hormones that regulate appetite work. You might eat more as a result.

  11. Brush Your Teeth After Meals

If you already brush and floss after you eat, you’re already boosting your dental health. It could help reduce your propensity to snack as well.

  12. Incorporate Cardio into Your Daily Routine

If you’re going to sustain a sound weight loss program, you’re going to need to mix in some exercise. Activities that increase the heart rate, such as cycling, jogging or hiking, could help reduce belly fat.

  13. Eat Mindfully

When you practice mindful eating – basically, being more aware of your food – helps your body do a better job of “getting the message,” so to speak, that you’re full. It might keep you from binge eating.

  14. Eat Slowly

Try slowing down when you eat. It’s understandable that people will sometimes have to wolf down their food when they’re in a hurry, such as when they have to get to work or finish their lunch hour. But it’s a bad habit. Research shows that those who slow down are less likely to become obese.

  15. Try a Low-Carb Diet

While you shouldn’t try to eliminate carbohydrates from your diet (since they help provide the energy your body needs to function properly), if you can reduce your carb intake, you might reduce your weight as well. In fact, a low-carb diet might help you lose significantly more weight than following a low-fat diet.

Whether you call them dermal fillers or you know them as restoring injectables, they help restore fat and collagen reserves in the skin that can disappear over time. They help smooth wrinkles and deep lines, and give your skin more volume. At ProHealth Solutions, we use Restylane and Juvederm fillers.

In the vast majority of instances, patients only report mild discomfort and a few minor side effects. However, like any sort of procedure, you’ll need to follow your doctor’s instructions. Here are a few to keep in mind. Of course, if you ever have any questions, you can always

  General Care After Facial Fillers

Your practitioner will give you a detailed list of care instructions that you should follow to the letter after you receive your facial fillers. Doing so will not only reduce the risks of complications, but will also help ensure you get the best possible results from your treatment. Your instructions will more than likely include the following.

Potential Side Effects of Facial Fillers to Watch Out For

If you do experience side effects, again, they should be relatively minor. These are a few of the more common ones.

  When to Contact Your Doctor

While very rare, there are some instances where a patient will suffer serious complications. Contact our office immediately if you experience any of these issues:

How Long do Facial Fillers Last?

The amount of time that Juvederm and Restylane last can depend on many different factors. Patients absorb fillers at different rates, so fillers might last longer for one person than another. Juvederm fillers, for example, will typically last anywhere from six months to two years. That’s why it’s very important for patients to always let us know what their goals are before they undergo treatment. During your initial consultation with a ProHealth Solutions professional, we’ll make sure you know exactly what to expect.

  Preparing for Your Next Visit

You’ll need to come back to our office for a follow-up visit. This could be anywhere from two to four weeks after your first procedure. When you come in, your doctor will examine how the filler has settled, and then recommend an additional injection if it proves to be necessary.

It’s important to note that you’ll be able to tell a difference immediately after your treatment. However, it will take time for the ultimate results to occur, since the filler has to integrate into the skin. Swelling can also affect the amount of time it will take for the full results to be noticeable.

If you have any asymmetries in the injected areas, don’t worry. This can happen at times.

In the days before your follow-up, make notes on whatever side effects are occurring, and what kinds of results you’re seeing. This information will help us determine if any additional treatments might be needed when you make your next visit.

When most people think about Botox, they think of it as being used for cosmetic purposes. Botox can help get rid of many of the more common signs of aging, such as wrinkles around the lips, eyes and other areas. There are, however, ways Botox can be used that can help solve medical problems as well, such as problems involving the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).

The TMJ is located on each side of the head, at the meeting point of the jawbone and skull. TMJ disorder occurs when this joint either gets swollen or displaced.

The most common cause of this issue is grinding your teeth at night, a condition known as bruxism. It can also develop if you clench your teeth a great deal, or if you tend to overwork the joint by eating too many crunchy or tough foods. In some severe instances, lockjaw can occur. This is when the jaw locks, making it impossible to open your mouth very wide – if you can open it at all.

If you’re under a great deal of pressure, either from work, school, family or financial problems, etc., that can make your neck and face muscles extremely tense. This can lead to clenching of your teeth, which, in turn, will increase the chances of developing TMJ disorder.

Symptoms of this problem include the following:

If you are experiencing any of these issues, talk to your doctor to see if you may have TMJ disorder.

Is Botox an Effective Treatment for TMJ?

Without a doubt, Botox can help people suffering from TMJ disorder. It’s important to note, however, Botox will treat the discomfort – not the root cause of the condition. Once you’ve found relief through Botox injections, you will likely want to see a specialist to determine the best way to treat that root cause. This could mean, for example, talking to your dentist about ways to realign your bite.

Side Effects of Using Botox for TMJ

There can be some side effects associated with using Botox, just like with most other medical procedures. However, these will, in the vast majority of instances, be minimal and temporary.

Common side effects include slight nausea, headaches, and possibly feeling flu-like symptoms. Others include redness at the injection site, muscle weakness in the treated area, and slight pain. Bruising may occur as well.

  How Does the Procedure Work?

If you’re suffering from TMJ and you’re considering Botox treatment, the first thing you’ll probably want to know is what to expect during your session. Botox works by limiting muscle movement – in this case, the masseter and temporalis muscles near the jaw. Your professional may give you other injections in other areas as well, depending on the symptoms you have.

Once the injections are administered, you should quickly start to experience relief from pain and any other symptoms you’re experiencing.

If you feel any discomfort from the injection, it will probably feel something like being stung by a bee. As you learned earlier, however, any discomfort will only be temporary. The procedure is efficient and quick, probably lasting for no longer than half an hour.

The effects of your Botox injection should last anywhere from three to four months. Once you’ve received your treatment, you should be able to return to your normal activities immediately.

You will, however, have to do a few things to make sure the injections work. For example, don’t massage or rub the injection sites. You’ll also need to avoid laying down for quite a few hours. This will help keep the Botox from entering other areas of your face. You can use a cold pack if you have stinging or any other pain.

  Is Botox for TMJ Expensive?

The cost of having Botox injections for TMJ will vary. The main factor that will determine your cost will be the number of injections that are needed. In general, patients typically need anywhere from 15-25 injections on each side of their face (30-50 injections total) to get the results they want.

A ProHealth Solutions expert will be able to go into much more detail regarding cost during your initial consultation. However, on average, Botox injections cost anywhere from $10 to $20 per injection. So, if you need 40 injections and the cost is $20, you will pay $800.

We do offer payment plans that make it easy to pay for your treatment in installments. Again, we’ll tell you much more during your consultation.

  What are Peptides?

You no doubt know that proteins are the building blocks of the body. Well, peptides are the building blocks of proteins. They’re basically amino acids that tell cells to perform certain functions, such as healing tissue or producing hormones. In addition, they help the immune system fight back against things that can make us sick, like bacteria, certain types of diseases and viruses. Peptides also play a role in determining how the body responds to exercise and going on a diet.

One of the reasons we start to show signs of aging, certain peptides start to diminish. Not only do we start to look older, we also start to feel older as a result. Peptides are incredibly important to looking and feeling your best.

  What is Peptide Therapy?

Without getting too deep into the science, peptide therapy is, in a nutshell, a way to stimulate the pituitary gland into producing more growth hormone (GH). So, the body is still producing HGH naturally, it’s just doing so through peptide therapy. While it’s possible for peptide therapy to replace your body’s GH production, it’s not recommended for this use. The reason is that it would cause you to become dependent on the therapy.

Why is GH important? It’s basically a master hormone, one that controls a wide range of biological processes. As we get older, we don’t produce as much GH. That makes it harder for the body to regenerate cells and to repair damaged tissue.

Peptide therapy is designed to help the cells do a better job of dealing with stress, naturally promoting healthy changes in those cells.

  Benefits of Peptide Therapy

The specific benefits you’ll obtain through peptide therapy will basically depend on the specific type of peptide you receive. There are a lot of ways we administer peptides, including orally, through injections or creams, or sublingually (under the tongue). Here are a few of the peptides we use in treatment, along with some of the benefits of each.

A lot of the visible signs of aging can be traced back to one thing – loss of volume. As the tissues in the face lose volume and become thinner over time, that can make the lines around the cheeks, nose and mouth seem hollow. Facial fillers are designed to, as the name implies, fill that volume, smoothing out wrinkles and restoring a younger appearance as a result.

  Types of Facial Fillers

One thing you need to know is that a facial filler is not Botox – it’s a completely different substance. At ProHealth Solutions, we only use safe, effective, FDA-approved fillers. Here are just a few types that are commonly used.

  Hyaluronic acid (HA)

Your skin already has HA. It helps keep it hydrated. Fillers that contain HA are in gel form, and provide results that usually last between six months to a year. However, in many instances, those results last longer until the body absorbs the HA particles. In order to minimize discomfort, HA is typically infused with lidocaine. Juvéderm and Restylane are two of the more common fillers that include HA.

  Calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA)

This substance is also natural, primarily found in the bones. The calcium particles that are part of the CaHA filler are usually thicker than HA filler. This filler will usually last longer as a result – at least a year in many instances.

  Poly-L-lactic acid (PLL Acid)

PLL acid is different from HA and CaHA in that it’s synthetic. If you’ve ever had dissolvable stitches, they contained PLL acid. It helps the skin develop collagen, the natural substance that helps make your skin smooth, strong and flexible. The PLL acid particles actually disappear relatively quickly, but the collagen lasts for two years or even longer.

  Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA)

This is another synthetic substance that breaks down in the body after application. When used as a filler, it’s actually a very small, almost microscopic ball that sits beneath the skin for an indefinite time period. The ball provides continued support to the treated area. PMMA also contains collagen.

  Autologous fat injections (AFI)

AFI will require a surgical procedure to administer, but the results last longer than any of the other fillers mentioned above. A doctor performs liposuction to collect fat from another area of your body. After purification, the fat is then injected into areas of the face that need to be filled. When performed by a skilled, trained professional, AFI is very safe, and delivers outstanding results.

How Long Do Facial Fillers Last?

In general, synthetic fillers last longer than natural fillers. Also, injections near the nose will usually last longer than those administered closer to the lips. If you undergo an AFI procedure, your surgeon may have to inject more than is needed, since some of the fat won’t survive. While this will lead to a fuller appearance than the patient might expect, that will eventually settle into something that looks more natural.

  Risks of Facial Fillers

The vast majority of facial filler procedures are completely safe, with minimal side effects. Patients may experience some bleeding, bruising, and possible scarring. Other potential issues include swelling, rashes and redness. In some instances, there can be a slight risk of infection where the filler was administered. Necrosis, or loss of skin, can also occur due to blood flow disruption.

  Are Facial Fillers Worth it?

If you talk to someone who ever had facial fillers, there’s a very high likelihood they will tell you the procedure was definitely worth it. This is a very noninvasive treatment that can reduce, or possibly even eliminate, the signs of aging.

However, you will need to do some research before you decide on a physician to perform your procedure. At ProHealth Solutions, all of our professionals have extensive training, and are also certified in administering facial fillers. We will be more than happy to share our credentials with you, and to also tell you exactly what to expect.

Unfortunately, there are some people who will turn to the internet to purchase so-called “do it yourself” fillers. When injected by non-professionals, these substances can lead to devastating consequences. Some fillers, for instance, contain hair gel which can lead to infections as well as severe allergic reactions. Some people have even suffered blindness.

Never trust any filler that’s available online. Always turn to a trained, certified expert instead.

  Are Facial Fillers Expensive?

Procedures involving the administration of facial fillers can cost a great deal of money. Most fillers cost a certain amount per syringe, with the price ranging from about $700 to more than $1,000. Autologous fat injections can cost more than $2,500.

However, ProHealth Solutions offers financing through Cherry. You may be able to gain approval in as little as 60 seconds, and then pay for your procedure over time. Applicants will not have to undergo a hard credit check, and you may also be able to obtain financing with no interest.

Lots of good things come with getting older—we get wiser, we gain emotional maturity, and we get to enjoy the benefits of everything we have worked for. But with age comes some downsides. As men get older, they often start to lose some of their testosterone production. Testosterone is responsible for sex drive, bone mass, fat distribution, muscle mass and strength, and other important bodily functions. Fortunately, you don’t have to just standby and watch these things fade thanks to testosterone hormone therapy.

In order to better understand why someone might consider getting treatment for low testosterone (or low T as it is often called), we first need to understand what the symptoms are.

Symptoms and Side Effects of Low Testosterone

Here are a few of the symptoms of low testosterone, as well as information on what you can do about it so you can get back to feeling like yourself.

Increased Body Fat and Other Physical Changes

As men age, they lose some of their strength and stamina. This includes losing mass, strength, and flexibility in the muscles. This loss of strength is believed by researchers to be caused by a loss of testosterone.

Testosterone helps to build muscle mass and strength in men. As testosterone levels naturally decline, it can cause a loss of muscle mass, strength, and, along with that, self-esteem.

In order to prevent this loss of muscle and strength, men can supplement their testosterone with hormone therapy. This can not only improve muscle strength, but it can help prevent broken bones, lack of balance, and other issues.

Aging doesn’t have to equal a loss of strength.

When you lose testosterone, you also lose energy. This means you won’t be as motivated to work out or exercise, which in itself, can result in a loss of muscle and gaining weight.

In addition to a loss of strength, low T can also cause other physical changes like:

         Decreased Sexual Function

Testosterone also plays a large role in sex drive. When your levels of testosterone decrease, you might also see a decrease in your libido. A loss of sex drive can affect your relationships, self-confidence, and cause anxiety.

There’s no such thing as a “normal” libido, but if you find your lack of desire for sex is declining, you may have low testosterone.

Men with testosterone loss also often experience fewer spontaneous erections and are at a higher risk of being infertile.

         Changes to Sleep

A lack of energy due to low testosterone can also result in altered sleep patterns, and possibly insomnia. You could have trouble falling asleep and/or staying asleep all night long. When you wake up, you might feel fatigued, or tired all day.

If you have sleep apnea—a condition that disrupts breathing while sleeping—it could cause you to have lower testosterone levels. Sleep apnea can cause your amounts of REM sleep to be reduced which often leads to low-T levels. Evidence shows a strong relationship between low testosterone and a sleep-breathing disorder like sleep apnea.

         Emotional and Mental Changes

Low testosterone doesn’t just result in physical changes. It can also have a profound effect on your emotional and mental health as well.

Men with low-T will often deal with mood changes, making them more prone to being irritable, or even being depressed.

A lack of testosterone can also lower your motivation levels and sap your self-confidence. It can even affect your cognitive abilities. You might not feel as focused as before, and you might have difficulty with your memory.

In addition to aging, there are a lot of other issues that can lead to a loss of testosterone. These are just a few.

If you are suffering from any of the conditions mentioned above, there’s a chance the reason could be low testosterone. Talk to your doctor to rule out health issues such as the ones listed above.

The idea behind BHRT is simple—to provide your body with the same type of testosterone your body used to produce.

There are two methods we use to administer BHRT treatments: injections and pellets.

Injections – We can provide you with direct injections of testosterone that your body will immediately absorb. You’ll eventually learn how to inject yourself, but we will always be available to provide you with any sort of assistance you need.

Testosterone Pellets – If you don’t want to deal with needles or routine injections, pellets are a great alternative. This treatment involves the insertion of small pellets into the upper hip area. These pellets are about the size of a grain of rice so you won’t even notice they are there. This treatment provides a consistent dose of testosterone over several months and mimics how the body typically releases the hormone.

Losing weight. A lot of people find it’s the biggest challenge they’ll ever face. You’ve no doubt seen TikToks or social media posts of people who’ve lost substantial amounts of weight and are showing it off online. And we get it, you want to be that person but you don’t know how to get there or how to get started. Medical weight loss from ProHealth Solutions could very well be the answer you’ve been looking for.

         What is Medical Weight Loss?

Medical weight loss is a combination of diet and exercise, motivation, medical supervision, supplements, and anything else our medical professionals can provide to help you along the way.

The first step is having a ProHealth Solutions expert perform a complete evaluation of your total health. We’ll find out exactly why you’re having issues losing weight or keeping it off. We do this by running tests and doing a questionnaire.

We not only offer treatment options for weight management, but we also provide some of our patients with injections that burn fat. These injections serve as a complement to our other weight-loss methods in order to help ensure significant – and sustainable – results.

One of the keys to long-term weight loss is a healthy metabolism. We also offer IV drips and injections that work to help counteract a slow metabolism, which most people will experience as they get older.

We also believe that proper hydration is important to sustained weight loss. It helps ensure that your body will do the best possible job of burning fat and using energy. IV drips not only keep you hydrated but also help you shed those unwanted pounds.

Weight Loss Programs are Tailored to Your Specific Needs

To help boost your weight loss journey we will customize a program to meet your exact needs. It might sound like a cliché, but it’s true – no two people are alike when it comes to finding the best plan to lose weight. Tailoring a program to each client will offer a much better chance for success.

We’ll motivate you and we’ll hold you accountable.

We know that obesity is a medical issue, not a failure of willpower. We’ll assess you for any other medical problems, and then our medical experts will work together with you to customize a program that will help you meet your goals.

         They’re Safe and Effective

It’s easy to tell somebody to “eat right and get exercise.” At ProHealth Solutions we know that sticking to an exercise regimen and making radical lifestyle changes can be incredibly hard.

These can be even more difficult when people don’t see results as quickly as they like.

As a result, many people will turn to crash diets or use unproven fat-burning supplements. But these are nothing more than quick fixes – and they can be expensive, a waste of money, and dangerous to your health.

We’ll help you avoid being one of those people doomed to the rollercoaster of weight loss. A lot of these “lose weight fast” methods really don’t do anything except stimulate muscle and water loss, rather than fat loss. This usually leads to regaining weight and accumulating even more fat.

ProHealth Solutions offers an alternative – a plan that’s not only safe but proven to work.

With Medical Weight Loss, You’ll Be Supported

You’ll never feel alone or neglected when you work with ProHealth Solutions to lose weight.

There might be times when you simply don’t want to keep fighting to meet your weight loss goals. If that happens, don’t punish yourself – it’s normal to feel that way. Just remember that we’ll never let you lose sight of what you want to accomplish. You’ll always be able to count on us to be with you every step of the way, and provide motivation and encouragement.

Lose Weight and Don’t Gain it Back

Quick solutions are not always the best solutions. We don’t offer those, nor do we make outrageous claims that you’ll shed an incredible amount of weight in a short time.

What we do is create sustainable goals, a plan to reach them, and continue to monitor your progress. If we need to, we’ll make any adjustments to help you stay on track.

And, we won’t just disappear once you meet your goal. We’ll help you maintain those results, modifying your diet when necessary, changing your exercise routine if needed, and more.

Remember that as important as it is to look great, it’s just as important to feel great and be healthy. You’ll love the way you look, but you’ll love the way you feel even more.

Plan on being not just lighter, but healthier and stronger than ever. Once you get that feeling, you’ll never want to let it go.

Your Doctor Will Help You Set Realistic Goals

Before you start your journey with ProHealth Solutions, one of our medical experts will sit down with you and help you to figure out your goals. We will work with you to create realistic and attainable goals that will fit perfectly with our weight loss plan.

Once we do that, we’ll put you on a track that will make you feel better than you’ve felt in years, while always working from a safe, medically sound basis.

          You’ll love the results!
